Foster Grandparent at Brown House Shelter

From July, 2009 to December, 2009, one Foster Grandparent volunteer served 30 teenaged girls at the Salvation Army Booth Brown House Shelter in Saint Paul. According to site staff, all 30 girls matched with the Foster Grandparent volunteer were willing to participate in program activities and to remain at the shelter without running away. All the girls increased their respect for others during their stay, in part due to the caring service of their grandparent.
